Out of hours service
There is no local authority waste collection so please do not leave bags of waste at the beach, pier or playground.
If you have waste then you can buy a refuse bag from the Community Centre or from An Bothan. Once the bag is full you can deposit it in the bins outside the community centre.
These bins MUST ONLY be used for bags bought as described above.
Activities
The following sections provide details of places to visit and things to do.
An Bothan is an outpust of Driftwood Surf cafe down by the beach and serves great food and drink that you can either eat at the outside tables or take away.
Driftwood Surf Cafe is walking distance from the beach or you can drive there and park. They serve great food and drink (lunch and evenings) and have marvelous views out across St Finan's bay. You can book a table online.
Take a landing tour to Skellig Michael. Trips from Glen Pier on Skellig Falcon offer the fastest route to this amazing island.

Visit the Skelligs Chocolate factory to see demonstrations on how they are made, including tastings. A great place to take the kids.
